    Set access

    The password you set at deploy time is the admin token: the admin panel takes it alone, with no username. Open the panel with it, invite your own email address, then create your vault account with that address at your Vaultwarden address.

    The console tracks provisioning, gives the app a generated HTTPS address and shows host CPU and memory after launch.

    Open the admin panel with your admin token and invite your own email address. Create your account with that email, then choose self-hosted in the Bitwarden apps and enter your Vaultwarden address.

The operational details

Public sign-ups are closed, so everyone joins by invitation from the admin panel, you first. No email service is configured: an invited address registers directly at your Vaultwarden address. The vault is stored in SQLite on the project server. Push notifications to the Bitwarden mobile apps are not set up.
