    Set access

    Sign in to the web panel over HTTPS with the username (admin unless you choose another) and the password you set at deploy time. The login is written before the first boot, so there is no setup wizard to claim.

    Let it start

    The console tracks provisioning, gives the app a generated HTTPS address and shows host CPU and memory after launch.

    Make it yours

    Sign in with the login you set at deploy time. Put the private DNS-over-HTTPS address into a browser or device that takes one. Treat it like a password.

Plain DNS on port 53 answers only the IP addresses you allow, your current IP unless you list others, so the server is never an open resolver. The private DNS-over-HTTPS address works from anywhere because it carries a secret in its path, so treat it like a password. A project holds one AdGuard Home, because DNS port 53 is fixed on the server.

How do my devices use AdGuard Home?
Two ways. Put the private DNS-over-HTTPS address into a browser's secure DNS setting or a device that takes one, which works from anywhere. Or point a router or device at the server's IP on port 53, which answers only the addresses you allowed. Add more in AdGuard Home under Settings, DNS settings, Access settings.
