    Set access

    Sign in to the node panel as myst, a username Mysterium fixes, with the password you set at deploy time and from an IP address you allowed. Then claim the node on mystnodes.com.

    Let it start

    The console tracks provisioning, then shows the node panel address on port 4449 and host CPU and memory. The panel opens only to the IP addresses you allowed.

    Open the node panel from an allowed IP address and sign in as myst. Claim the node on mystnodes.com to finish setup.

The node relays other people's VPN traffic through your server's IP address. Its panel is plain HTTP on port 4449, open only to the addresses you allow, so there is no HTTPS address or custom domain. A project holds one node. A running container does not by itself mean the node is claimed on mystnodes.com or earning.

How much does it cost to run Mysterium?

Can I run a Mysterium node on Selfhost.dev?
Yes. Running a Mysterium node is permitted on a project server, including the VPN traffic other people route through your server's IP address. Deploying it accepts Mysterium's own terms and conditions, which the console asks you to acknowledge first.
Does a running node mean it is earning?
No. What a node earns is between you and the Mysterium network. A running container does not by itself mean the node is claimed or earning, so check it on mystnodes.com after you claim it.
How do I sign in to Mysterium?

Can I use my own domain for Mysterium?
