    Set access

    There is no login. The proxy answers only the IP addresses you allow at deploy time. You can change that list later in Settings.

    Let it start

    The console tracks provisioning, then shows the proxy endpoint on port 3128 and host CPU and memory. The proxy answers only the IP addresses you allowed.

    Make it yours

    Fund the gateway identity with MYST, using the identity address in the connector logs. Set HTTP_PROXY and HTTPS_PROXY in your app to the proxy endpoint.

This is the consuming side of Mysterium, not a node that sells bandwidth. The proxy has no password of its own: it answers only the IP addresses you allow. It carries traffic only after its identity is registered and funded with MYST. A project holds one gateway.

Recommended from 4 GB RAM, from ~$0.02/hr (EU). The app adds no separate fee. You pay only for the project server it runs on, by the hour against prepaid credits. Traffic through the Mysterium network is paid separately, in MYST per GB from the gateway's own funded identity, to the Mysterium network rather than to us.
What does the gateway cost beyond the server?
Selfhost.dev bills only the project server. Traffic through the Mysterium network costs MYST per GB, paid from the gateway's own identity once you register and fund it. Until then the gateway runs but the proxy carries no traffic.
Who can use the proxy?
Only the IP addresses you allow. The proxy has no password of its own, so the allow-list is the lock. You can change it later in Settings. Choosing Anywhere lets anyone who reaches the port spend your MYST.
